Why the cowboy will reach the NFC championship game. Sounds preposterous I know but just bear with me. Now if your reading this and don’t know I’m not the biggest cowboys fan…. actually I can say with a straight face I hate the cowboys. I don’t know why but I do. So with that being said I believe they will make it to NFC championship game with tony romo. Let me re state that WITH TONY ROMO. Romo is not a bad quarterback think about it long and hard Favre did the same thing and we consider Favre one of the greatest qbs ever.”but Jonathan Favre won big games in big moments” yes true but Favre didn’t go through 3 coaches like romo did he also doesn’t have pressure of playing for the cowboys. Romo’s numbers compared to Favre’s numbers through they’re first 6 years are almost identical. Difference? Talent? Maybe although when romo had t.o. he had 36 TD’s and 19 ints sounds very Favre esq. You look at what tony is doing this year with out a running game and without he’s best wide receiver. These next couple of weeks are going to be the big ones for the cowboys romo will play good its just up to his playmakers. Oh and by the way he has the 5th best defense in the NFL. Offense wins games defense wins championships heard that before? It’s true look at the last 5 superbowl champions Indianapolis had a top ten 10 defense giants had a great defense Pittsburgh new Orleans and the packers all very good defenses. So all in all give the cowboys a chance give romo a chance with his 3RD COACH! He’ll be fine just give it some time the cowboys will be good not great until next year they’re figuring out how to run the ball with a very young offensive line and next year I’m calling it now cowboys to the superbowl. Trust me give it some time Jason garret will be more experienced romo will finally grow up and dez Bryant and miles Austin will be the best receiving duo since Randy Moss and Chris Carter. Give this team a full off season a healthy team and a quarterback who focuses on football not golf and you have a superbowl team. So don’t give up yet there’s hope the window is small but it can and most likely will be done. If not then good by tony romo and good luck finding another quarterback who can do what does under the pressures of being Americas Team and working with Jerry Jones.

This is my first blog on tumblr. So I’ll explain who I am I’m Jonathan I work for a sports radio station. There now that that’s over with my real blog can now begin. I’ll start off with something that may not be relevant to most people. My favorite sport is basketball so this NBA lockout is killing me I should be watching training camps on NBA tv but instead I’m watching hardwood classics which don’t get me wrong I love the classics just not that much. I hear all the time no one is going to care about the NBA until January. False. Basketball may not be as popular as football but its defiantly better than baseball maybe I’m just being naive. But is it me or is it the 30 owners in the NBA who won’t give in. The big difference between the NBA and the NFL is the NBA is played world wide. So you lock em out and they go overseas not a hard concept. Or is it? What gets me is the 30 billionaire owners in the NBA are calling the millionaire NBA players selfish. Sounds ridiculous but its true. This isn’t a complaint this is for real to be honest we need an NBA season more than they do by the time the NBA would start it would be around week 8 in the NFL who cares about that? So by week 8 either you know if your team is good or bad which leads me to this who wants to watch games that mean nothing? Sure people say the NBA doesn’t get serious until a month before the play offs thats hog wash. Whether you want to admit it or not we need the NBA. Baseball will be over well that is unless you want to watch the fifth best sport in this country. Hockey. I thought so. So please NBA comeback we need you yes sports will survive and yes there’s still the NFL but when the NFL season is over the real NBA season begins.( playoffs) everybody wants to know if lebron wade and bosh can still deliver. People want to see how the Jimmer is going to do in the NBA and people want see if the Mavs can repeat. The NBA came off its most watched season since Jordan and now your going down hill fast if they dont fix this we could be talking about the NBA like we do the NHL… ok maybe not that bad but still. College basketball can only do so much we don’t want to see north Carolina’s Harrison Barnes or Austin Rivers we want to see kobe hitting last second shots and lebron dunking on everybody. So NBA owners and players please get it together
